The draw for the European Championship 2024 in Germany will take place on December 2nd in Hamburg; there are 10 venues, including Munich and Berlin; the first game of the next summer tournament will take place on June 14th in Munich; the final will take place in Berlin on June 13th and July 14th As the countdown is on for Euro 2024, here's everything you need to know about next summer's event in Germany.

Germany will host the summer tournament next year. |
West Germany hosted the tournament in 1988, but this is the first time Germany has hosted a European Championship since reunification.
Euro 2024 will take place from June 14th to July 14th, 2024.
The tournament draw will take place on Saturday, December 2nd in Hamburg.
As hosts, Germany tops Group A and is placed in A1, meaning Germany will play their opening game in Munich at the Monaco Football Arena (Allianz Arena) on Friday 14 June.

The Olympic Stadium in Berlin will host the final on Sunday, July 14th. |

Qualifying for Euro 2024 ends in November, and the draw for next summer's tournament begins in December.
Germany has already qualified for the final as hosts.
A total of 23 places are still available for the final, which will be filled by the results of the European qualifiers, which will take place until November 2023, and by the play-offs planned for March 2024.
The tournament format will be the same as Euro 2020.
The two best teams from each of the six groups in the final phase will advance to the round of 16 along with the four best third-placed teams.
The quarter-finals and semifinals will take place before the Euro 2024 winner is crowned on July 14 in Berlin.
