John Terry has urged Chelsea fans to welcome Mason Mount when he returns to the club.

He said: “Mase is Chels through and through. History always has two sides, I know the other side.

"I won't reveal it now, but there is another side to this story. Let's not be too hard on Mason when he comes back.

Mount joined Chelsea's youth system at the age of six and made his senior debut on 11 August 2019.

He played nearly 130 games and helped the club win the Champions League in 2021.

However, Chelsea went through a period of transition on and off the pitch last season and Mount moved to Manchester United for £55m.

The Englishman has struggled to reach his best form at Old Trafford as he is currently unavailable due to injury.
